You may notice a language option in the sidebar on the blog and forum pages as of today.
Right now, these translations are created by Google Translate.
If you reach a page that has not yet been automatically translated, you will see the progress bar while the translation is being completed.
Being created by Google Translate, these translations will be less than amazing, in terms of accuracy. Since we have a large international audience, let’s take this as the humble beginnings of some language diversity on the site.
If you are logged in to the site (program or forum), you will see an ‘edit translation’ button. You can change content to correct errors created by the automatic translation. Hopefully with your help, over time, we will have good translations of content available in many languages.
I appreciate your time in helping to improve translations.
Of course, don’t feel obligated. But if you see something that could use some help (titles especially), feel free to click the button, and make a quick edit.
Hopefully this will be helpful to some of our readers and participants in the future. I will get some professional translator time to at least handle the main content (outside of some of the blog), in the coming year.
I will hopefully also have some good news on the payment options front, to replace the current (and temporary) Paypal option. You can still use your credit card through the current option, but the soon to be replacement should be smoother and easier to use.
Again, I realize the current state of the translations is very much just a beginning. Reading the German version is somewhat comical … but I will make sure that we improve them over time.
